Modern OT is owned and operated by Fiona Smith Bradley and Shannon McGrath, two occupational therapists. Together they have built a team with a common goal of bettering the lives of others with an innovative, client-centered approach in occupational therapy.
Modern OT is Eastern Ontario’s largest occupational therapy group. With over 40 occupational therapists spanning three clinic sites – Ottawa, Kingston and Pembroke – we are able to service individuals along the 401 corridor from Belleville to Cornwall, east of Ottawa in places like Hawkesbury and Limoges, in Lanark County, Perth, and through the Ottawa Valley, to Deep River, and Barry’s Bay. We conduct assessments and provide treatment with an experienced, evidence-based rehabilitation approach. Our services also include case management, life care planning, and speech therapy.
Our team has expertise in traumatic brain injury, amputations, spinal cord injury, mental illness, chronic pain, wound care, and hand therapy. We have over 20 years of experience working with individuals recovering after motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, and returning to work after long term disability. We are leaders in our practice, called upon as experts for opinions, as well as to educate colleagues and the public in the role of occupational therapy in our community.
