Our next 8-week Mindfulness program will be coming soon.
Sessions run once per week for 8 weeks. Each session will include mindfulness practice, and reflection on this experience, to understand what mindfulness means. Each session will also include exercises on how to incorporate mindfulness into everyday life during recovery from injury and illness.
Mindfulness meditation teaches us to pay attention to our moment-to-moment experience in a non-judgmental way. It is a proven method for managing stress which can affect our emotional and physical health, by bringing our awareness to our body, emotions, sensations and thoughts. Mindfulness meditation can help us become aware of how to take better care of ourselves.
Mindfulness meditation is a practice that allows us to slow down, to recognize “what is,” and to choose constructive responses to our life challenges.
