Our next 8-week Mindfulness program begins March 21, 2018.
Sessions run once per week for 8 weeks. Each session will include mindfulness practice, and education to understand what Mindfulness is, its benefits, and how it can be applied and used in everyday life and recovery fron injury and illness.
Mindfulness meditation teaches us how to pay attention to our thoughts in a non-judgmental, neutral way. It is a proven method for managing stress, through the awareness of how unconscious thoughts, feelings, and behaviors affect our emotional and physical health.
Mindfulness meditation is a practice that combines calmness with acceptance and allows for us to slow down and control reactions, effecting positive coping when facing stressful situations.
