Following her graduation from the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program at Western University in 2010, Ashley worked in a variety of settings including acute, rehabilitation, and long-term care facilities, as well as in clients’ homes and workplaces. She works with children, adolescents and adults, including seniors.
Ashley enjoys collaborating with clients, families, and health care team members to develop goals and treatment plans following stroke, brain injury, musculoskeletal and orthopedic injuries, as well as in the management of chronic pain, dementia, cognitive impairments, mood and personality disorders.
Ashley is well versed in functional, cognitive, seating, mobility, and environmental accessibility assessments. She is an Assistive Devices Program (ADP) Authorizer for Ambulation Aids, Seating, Manual and Power wheelchairs.
She enjoys establishing therapeutic relations with clients and their families to effectuate positive changes and outcomes.
Ashley McPhail works from our Pembroke, Ontario office, and offer services in English and French.
Outside of her clinical practice, Ashley enjoys spending time with my family and performing and teaching highland dance.
