Colin Moore is an occupational therapist with over 22 years of experience in the provision of professional services both in the community and facility-based care.
His professional training and experience allows him to handle a variety of files requiring advanced assessment and treatment solutions for individuals recovering from injuries sustained in motor vehicle accidents, work place accidents, and trauma related injuries. Colin works with individuals suffering from traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic and musculoskeletal injury, upper extremity trauma, and chronic pain. In addition, Colin develops and delivers treatment for clients faced with impairments resulting in cognitive and psychological disability. His approach ultimately aims at restoring function of an individual in their home and/or workplace.
Colin has held the designation of a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), which indicates the highest level of experience in the field of upper extremity rehabilitation. He has also been certified as an Ergonomic Assessment Specialist and has extensive training in this area. A broad range of continuing education coursework has allowed an extensive range of experiences and skills; including being certified to provide the Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP).
He is a member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. He is also a member of Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists, is a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist, and registered with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
