Jean-François Couvrette’s previous work as a Certified Personal Trainer and his degree in Human Kinetics helps to guide his work as an Occupational Therapist. He has experience completing various cognitive assessments and working with clients following motor vehicle accidents. Jean-François has experience working with clients of all ages, from children to seniors.
He has a special interest in mental health issues, including anxiety and mood disorders, schizophrenia and psychotic disorders, and personality disorders. He is working to deepen his experience in vestibular rehabilitation and concussion management. He also holds a certification in non-violent crisis intervention.
He graduated with a Masters of Health Science, Occupational Therapy, from the University of Ottawa in 2017. He also holds a Bachelor of Science, Human Kinetics, from the University of Ottawa in 2013.
He enjoys staying active and playing all kinds of sports – hockey, soccer, volleyball, golf – just to name a few. He also likes to spend meaningful time with his family and friends.
