Professional Summary

Meghan Prouse obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Winnipeg and her Clinical Master’s in Occupational Therapy from the University of Manitoba. Since graduating in 2007, Meghan has had the opportunity to work in a variety of practice areas including hospital and community settings with both the adult and pediatric population. Meghan has always had a passion for working with children. Prior to moving to the Ottawa region, Meghan spent the majority of her time working as a community based therapist at the Rehabilitation Centre for Children in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She has experience working with both pre-school and school-aged populations in French and English. Her work experience includes a combination of school, home, and clinic settings both within cities and rurally. Throughout her 8 years of experience working as a pediatric occupational therapist, Meghan has developed a family-centered and culturally sensitive approach to client care. Treatment and intervention is personalized to fit the needs and wants of clients and their families to facilitate participation and increase satisfaction.

Meghan is comfortable in treating both infants and children with a variety of diagnoses. She has experience with working with children in the areas of:
