Sandeep Kaushik has been working in healthcare since 2013. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy in Delhi, India, after which he worked in clinics, hospitals, and in the community.
After immigrating to Canada, he worked in two long term care homes in Peterborough, Ontario as personal support worker while pursuing his registration to practice occupational therapy in the province of Ontario.
Sandeep has an avid interest in neurological conditions, developmental delays, and traumatic injuries. He enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds. He takes a holistic approach to working with his clients, assisting them with their day-to-day health and wellness journey. His aim is to provide quality care by understanding client’s goals. His drive for constant improvement, education, experience, and an analytical mind, are a great asset.
He believes continuing education is important and always take different courses in order to learn the new and different techniques for the betterment of clients and to enhance skills. Some recent courses include – Working together to help survivors of Catastrophic Brain Injury, Optimizing functional Cognition and Executive Function: Assessment and Intervention Strategies, Goal management training
Outside of work, his interests include reading, music, playing cricket, active travel adventures as well as trying local and international cuisines.
