Stephanie Nelson


Professional Summary

Stephanie obtained her Bachelor of Science with a double major in Biology and Psychology from Mount Allison University and her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from Dalhousie University. Since graduating in 2010, Stephanie has worked in a variety of practice areas in her home town of Moncton, New Brunswick. She has provided services to clients in hospital and in the community. Most recently, she served a paediatric population ages 0-5, but her work experience extends to community mental health, orthopedics, palliative care, neuro-rehabilitation, and school-based and geriatric assessments.

Stephanie’s drive for continuing education has led her to pursue many courses in a variety of areas. She has a special interest in paediatrics.

Stephanie is in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario, the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapy, and the New Brunswick Association of Occupational Therapy.

Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys volunteering for a variety of community organizations and spending her time in the dance studio or yoga studio. She also craves outdoor adventures of all kinds.
