Professional Summary

Danielle obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Psychology from Carleton University in 2009 and went on to obtain her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from McMaster University in 2011.

Since completing her studies, Danielle has gained over a decade’s worth of experience supporting individuals with various physical, cognitive, and psychosocial challenges in community and hospital settings. Danielle’s primary area of focus has been with adults facing barriers related to mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and psychosis. She has completed specialized training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which she adapts to her clients’ needs. Danielle also has a particular interest in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Growing up with a sibling with physical and cognitive disabilities instilled awareness and compassion that makes her particularly suited to support these individuals.

In her spare time, Danielle enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also finds ways to be creative, whether through art projects, baking, interior decorating, or photography. She enjoys being outdoors and exploring new places.
