Emily obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Moncton. During this time, Emily completed a certificate in Adapted Physical Activity from the Université de Poitiers in France. Following this, she obtained her Master of Health Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Ottawa.

Emily has clinical experience working with adults and seniors with a wide range of physical, cognitive, neurological, and mental health conditions, including stroke, concussion, chronic pain, anxiety, and depression.

Emily considers herself a life-long learner and regularly participates in continuing education courses. She has completed continuing education workshops related to concussion management, behavioral activation, and fall prevention. Emily is passionate about working in a client-centered manner, enabling clients to engage in the activities that they need, want, and love to do.

Originally from New-Brunswick, Emily is fully bilingual. In her free time, she enjoys staying active through yoga, walking with friends, weight-training, and martial arts.
