Genna specializes in treating individuals who are struggling with their mental health, including the effects of trauma, mood and adjustment disorders, chronic pain, and post-concussive symptoms. She discovered her passion for mental health while working with persons who struggled with addiction and severe mental health conditions during her clinical rotations, following which she began her career in an emerging role at a psychological health clinic. She has experience working with survivors of motor vehicle collisions and workplace injuries in both clinic and community settings, providing assessment and treatment services to children and adults of all ages with a multitude of mental and physical health conditions, symptoms, and diagnoses. Genna believes that each individual’s story matters, and she applies compassion and acceptance to her person-centered and trauma-sensitive approach to client care. She believes that therapy is a collaborative process and is dedicated to empowering her clients through education and evidence-based methods to address their complex health conditions as well as widespread healthcare barriers.
