OT Skills for Mental Health Group Therapy Program
Our Occupational Therapy (OT) program provides practical strategies to address common challenges of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and traumatic brain injury. Learn to manage issues like sleep disruption, lack of routine, poor eating habits, time management/organization difficulties, and motivation.
Evidence-based strategies are presented in a clear, practical way to help you integrate them into your daily life.
- Expert-Led: Guided by an Occupational Therapist with training in CBT and group therapy.
- Skill Building: Develop practical skills for time management, stress management, sleep hygiene, developing routines, and balancing self care, productivity and leisure.
- Personalized Plans: Create sustainable routines and an individualized plan that promotes resilience for ongoing health.
- Community Support: Reduce feelings of isolation by connecting with others facing similar challenges.

Participants will be provided with pre-group and post-group questionnaires to measure progress made during the group. Handouts are also provided for each session’s topics.
Format:
- Virtual
- 6 weeks
- Once per week, Wednesday mornings, 9:30-11:00AM
- 90 minutes; breaks provided
Winter/Spring 2026 Program Dates (6 consecutive Wednesdays 9:30-11AM):
- February 4 – March 11, 2026
- April 1 – May 6, 2026
Cost: $800.00 ($950.00 if a report is required by an insurer/funding source)
Who is it for:
- Individuals living with mental illness that is impacting daily routine.
- Diagnosis / Symptoms: Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, mTBI.
- Veterans, First Responders, Canadian Forces Members, WSIB, MVA, LTD, VAC, may have access to health plan insurance coverage (based on approval).
- Residents of Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, PEI, Newfoundland and Labrador, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Nunavut, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories.
