Stress Management and Resilience Coaching
Are you feeling overstretched, do you worry about burnt out, or have difficulty managing the stress of everyday life? Are you frustrated because you can’t take on new things or find it difficult adapting to change? Have you recently gone through a big transition, such as moving, retirement, ending a relationship, or changing jobs? Do you have a busy family that demands your time and energy, leaving nothing left for yourself?
Life is constantly changing, and adapting to these changes can be very stressful. Resilience is the quality we need to be able to withstand and effectively cope with stress.
In this 6-week group program, participants will be provided with the knowledge and practical strategies needed to become more resilient to better manage stress and optimize their health and happiness. This program is facilitated by an occupational therapist who creates a compassionate, supportive learning environment that will allow for positive changes to unfold.
Day/Time: Wednesdays, 7:00-8:30pm

Cost: $450.00*
Early Bird rate (on or before September 15, 2024) $350.00
*Invoices will specify occupational therapy for insurance purposes.
In this 6-week group program, you will learn:
- How to effectively manage stress to reduce its impact on your health using the Pillars of Resilience.
- Practical tools to help you incorporate these pillars into your daily routine and create positive habits.
- Strategies to help improve your mindset, improve well-being, and build confidence in your ability to cope with stress.
- How to optimize motivation to prioritize and achieve your health goals.
Each participant will be coached to start making positive changes in their life to reduce stress levels and feel empowered to maintain and build upon these changes far beyond the six weeks.
The OT Approach
Christina Della Croce, occupational therapist, works with people whose health is impacted by stress and she teaches coping strategies to recover from these stressful events. Her combined expertise in occupational therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing and coaching techniques create a stimulating learning experience.
