It is with great sadness that we mark the recent passing of Donna Klaiman, a kind and joyful member of the ModernOT Family.

In addition to working for ModernOT, Donna successfully pursued many roles as practitioner, researcher, and analyst in occupational therapy. For the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapy, she actively engaged in advocacy, public policy, accreditation, training and the international mobility of professionals. She also earned her second master’s degree in strategic foresight and design. Donna was also a devoted spouse, mother, and grandmother.

Donna was passionate about her work as an OT. And she was always seeking ways to be more innovative, both with clients and as a team.

Donna’s warmth, generosity of spirit, and kindness will be missed by the team.
