Dixie graduated from Toronto School of Business with a diploma in Legal Secretary. Dixie has been in the insurance industry as a licensed registered insurance broker and claims representative for 10 years along with several years as an administrative assistant in the technical industry.

On hot summer days, you can find her in the pool and playing cards and games at night on the deck and is a proud mother of two with two granddaughters.

Dixie enjoyed playing ladies competitive baseball in the summer and volleyball during the winter.
