Adults

Occupational therapy helps adults overcome challenges that affect their ability to live independently, work, or engage in daily activities. Whether recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or adapting to life changes, our therapists provide personalized strategies to improve function, mobility, and overall well-being. Our goal is to enhance independence, support meaningful participation in daily life, and improve quality of life through tailored therapy and practical solutions.

We work with adults in a variety of settings to address physical, cognitive, and emotional barriers. Occupational therapy sessions can take place in one of our clinics, your home, workplace, or community – wherever best meets your needs.

  • Initial sessions: An individualized assessment during which the client and occupational therapist determine the therapy goals. Typically, they last 2 to 2.5 hours to allow enough time for assessment, goal setting, discussion of recommendations, and treatment planning.
  • Occupational therapy treatment sessions: Customized intervention to improve the client’s ability to perform daily activities and ensure that their goals are met. Sessions are usually 60 minutes in length but can be adjusted based on individual needs.

Occupational therapy services can also include evaluations of a client’s home and other environments (e.g., community, workplace, school), recommendations for adaptive equipment and training in its use, and guidance/education for family members and caregivers.

Please feel free to call us with your concerns or questions or to discuss how our services can help you or a loved one live more fully and confidently.  In discussing your situation, we will match our expertise to recommend the best occupational therapist on our team to meet your needs.
