Modern OT was originally founded in 1998, and is operated by two occupational therapists, Fiona Smith Bradley and Shannon McGrath.   In 2022, Modern OT joined Lifemark Health Group to grow occupational therapy across their organization. Together, Fiona and Shannon have built a team with a common goal of bettering the lives of others with an innovative, client-centered approach in occupational therapy.

Modern OT is Eastern Ontario’s largest occupational therapy group. With over 40 occupational therapists spanning three clinic sites – Ottawa, Kingston and Pembroke – we are able to service individuals along the 401 corridor from Belleville to Cornwall, east of Ottawa in places like Hawkesbury and Limoges, in Lanark County, Perth, and through the Ottawa Valley to Deep River and Barry’s Bay.

We conduct assessments and provide treatment with an experienced, evidence-based rehabilitation approach.  We have over 20 years of experience working with individuals recovering after motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, and returning to work after short or long-term disabilities.
