Amanda obtained her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Queen’s University in 2009, following an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario in 2007.

With over 15 years of experience, Amanda has worked extensively across Eastern Ontario, primarily supporting adults living with severe and persistent mental health conditions. Her clinical practice spans both hospital and community settings, where she has been dedicated to fostering mental health recovery, enhancing independence, and facilitating meaningful participation in daily life.

Amanda is deeply committed to a client-centered approach. She focuses on empowering individuals to overcome barriers that may hinder their engagement in life’s activities. Whether addressing mental health or cognitive challenges, she strives to provide personalized, holistic interventions that enable clients to regain autonomy and achieve their goals.

In addition to her clinical work, Amanda is passionate about mentoring new clinicians, ensuring that best practices are upheld across the profession. She continuously seeks to expand her knowledge and skills through evidence-based learning, ensuring that her practice remains aligned with current research and emerging trends in the field of mental health recovery.

Outside of her professional life, Amanda is a strong advocate for work-life balance. She enjoys spending time outdoors, travelling, and connecting with family and friends.
