Rylie earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, and a Bachelor of Human Kinetics (Honours) with a specialization in Education and Coaching from the University of Ottawa. Her educational background has provided her with knowledge of physical and psychosocial determinants of health, psychology, program development and evaluation, physiology, motor control, and motor learning. She has also gained valuable experience helping adults and older adults after surgery, focusing on mobility, activities of daily living, and discharge planning in an acute care hospital setting. Additionally, Rylie has worked with paediatric clients using child-led, play-based, and neurodiversity-affirming approaches. She values providing paediatric occupational therapy services based on sensory preferences to support children and families build routines and develop strategies to succeed at school and at home.
