Are you covered by OHIP?
Modern OT offers private pay services, which means that our services are not covered by OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan).
Do you work with ODSP?
Modern OT works with ODSP in conjunction with the Assistive Devices Program (ADP) to assist eligible clients requiring a mobility device. Modern OT can submit a funding request to ODSP on your behalf, but please note that we are unable to proceed until ODSP provides confirmation of approval.
If I see an OT on the website, can I choose which OT I want to provide service?
Consideration is given to the availability, skills, and location of our occupational therapists when referrals are assigned.
Do you offer translation services or have OTs that speak multiple languages?
Translation services are available by request and have additional fees associated with them. Many of our occupational therapists at Modern OT are multilingual and can provide services in English, French, Arabic, Punjabi, and Spanish.
Who should I contact to get an invoice or make a payment?

How should I send my documents for my file?
You have the option to attach referral documents with additional information using the File Attachment feature on the Request Our Services form. You may also email documents for your file to info@modernot.ca.
Allowed file types are PDF, doc(x)/xls(x), or zip only, with a maximum size of 5 MB.
