Erin Rammelaere
Professional Summary
Erin obtained her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, after acquiring her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Erin’s educational background has equipped her with extensive knowledge of the factors that influence health and an understanding of how various diagnoses can impact an individual’s life. This has prepared her to approach her occupational therapy practice with empathy and a desire to help individuals achieve their goals.
Erin is dedicated to supporting individuals facing challenges in their daily lives. She primarily works with individuals who have been impacted by motor vehicle accidents, those off work following injury, military personnel, and veterans, providing compassionate and goal-oriented care. Before joining Modern OT, Erin gained valuable experience working with diverse populations in both hospital and community settings. Her clinical background includes designing personalized treatment plans for inpatient stroke clients, providing splinting and rehabilitation in a hand therapy clinic, and supporting early diagnosis and intervention for infants in neonatal care. Erin also has experience in mental health, working with adults on a community mental health treatment team. These diverse experiences have provided her with a strong foundation in occupational therapy across different populations, shaping her holistic and client-centred approach to community-based care.
Erin is dedicated to building strong connections with her clients and to providing evidence-informed care. She is committed to ongoing professional development and continually refines her skills to better support those she works with. Erin is passionate about how one’s environment can influence quality of life and remains dedicated to expanding her clinical expertise, allowing her to provide individualized care tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Outside of her work with Modern OT, you will often find Erin spending time with her husband, friends, or catching up with family back home in New Brunswick. She enjoys walking, reading, cooking, and travelling.
